Job Description:

Position under the hierarchical authority of the Director of Transition and Strategy

Responsibilities / Conditions of Exercise:
  1. Mission:
    • Analyze and monitor the community's fluid consumption (Urban Heating, Electricity, gas, fuels, water, etc.)
    • Participate in defining energy management policies
    • Propose directions within the framework of renovation and development programs aimed at optimizing energy and fluid consumption
    • Raise awareness among staff and users to adopt more economical and environmentally respectful practices
    • Serve as an interface, cross-functionally, between elected officials, the General Directorate of Services, and various department services on relevant topics
  2. Activities:
    1. Main activities:
      • Implement, monitor, and manage water and energy subscriptions, contracts, and purchases to identify improvement opportunities
      • Define strategic orientations with elected officials and management in water, sanitation, stormwater, water management, and oversee their implementation
      • Lead and propose tools to reduce energy consumption
      • Develop photovoltaic projects
      • Participate in the specification of rehabilitation and construction programs
      • Follow up on energy audits both administratively and technically
      • Manage renewable energy projects
      • Educate the public and internal staff on water and energy savings to promote behavioral change
      • Monitor compliance with the tertiary decree
      • Track the ACTEE program
      • Implement commitments within the framework of the Territorial Climate Air Energy Plan (PCAET)
    2. Additional activities:
      • Propose appropriate financial and legal tools to facilitate action
      • Prepare subsidy files
      • Manage and consolidate CEE demand files
      • Stay informed on political, technical, and legal developments
