Manufacturing Excellence Director Personal Care EMEA NA

For Product Supply Personal Care Europe and North America, we are looking for a Manufacturing Excellence Director.

About the Role

The Manufacturing Excellence Director has the overall responsibility for driving and monitoring the manufacturing excellence program across sites within Personal Care EMEA NA. As Manufacturing Excellence Director, you support setting and monitoring performance targets and drive best practice sharing across sites. You are responsible for supporting the sites in achieving best asset utilization.

The Manufacturing Excellence Director reports to the Vice President Personal Care EMEA NA, which enables delivery of the business needs through world-class supply chain performance tailored to the local needs by leveraging global scale, solutions, capabilities, and best practices.

The Manufacturing Excellence Director is part of the Personal Care Supply Lead Team.

The pace of innovation is increasing, and so are the consumer and customer demands on product quality. The business needs for productivity, flexibility, and cost-efficient technology solutions are increasing in the highly competitive market environment where we operate.

What You Will Do

  • Be a role model for Safety, Quality, and all other operational standards.
  • Lead, direct, and develop the Manufacturing Excellence organization in terms of structure, people, and performance to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive Manufacturing improvements plans and Capability Program.
  • Support the sites in delivering their CBN.
  • Support the Vice President in developing and delivering the strategy, including supply chain transformation.
  • Be the single point of contact for the digitalization journey.
  • Lead OIM Network across the sites.
  • Coordinate GO-Manufacturing Program governance onboarding of the GO-Manufacturing candidates with OIM / Manufacturing Excellence managers.
  • Drive best practice sharing to eliminate losses.
  • Develop, support execution, and follow up on continuous improvement programs across plants.
  • Provide necessary support and expertise to Manufacturing Excellence members and sites to deliver best practice level of performance.

Who You Are

  • University Degree level with relevant practice.
  • Broad and documented experience in senior manufacturing roles.
  • Proven track record and experience in a successful TPM environment in advanced industries.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge and experience of relevant operational excellence enablers and experience in implementation.
  • Proven practice of international leadership experience from working and achieving results in a matrix organization, building trust in an open and multicultural environment.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Problem-solving and continuous improvement attitude.
  • Act as a team player and willing to coach and train.
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 50% of time).
  • Fluent in English is mandatory.

Location

This role will ideally be based near one of our PC sites in Europe.
