Job Description:

MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Analyzing the functional needs of the customer and the user.
  • Designing software and hardware architecture and selecting technologies, hardware, software, and configurations.
  • Identifying suppliers capable of meeting the needs of new projects or replacing obsolete components.
  • Designing and producing programs for automation based on project input data (specifications, system functional analyses, risk analysis).
  • Defining and executing technical and functional test phases and procedures (planning, validation).
  • Analyzing technical and functional problems and seeking corrective actions.
  • Participating in meetings to monitor design, improvement, and reliability projects, and preparing reports.
  • Drafting documents required for the development and maintenance of automation projects.
  • Participating in risk analyses and validating the technical solutions adopted.
  • Keeping a technological watch on hardware and software components.
  • Maintaining technical liaison with project managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring compliance with business standards (programming rules, cybersecurity) during projects.
  • Producing development and maintenance documentation.
  • Carrying out regulatory tests in accordance with procedures.
  • Proposing reliable technical solutions and assessing their impact on the project.
  • Informing project managers and supervisors of difficulties encountered and proposing solutions.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Modeling complex automation or industrial IT systems.
  • Proficiency with computer operating or automation systems.
  • Mastery of automation systems programming (Step7, WinCC, iX Développer, Codesys).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, J2EE, J2ME, C/C++, Pascal, etc.

  • Knowledge of analysis methods (functional, risk, electromechanics, project management).
