Job Overview

The DIRECTION DE L'ACCELERATION ET DE LA PERFORMANCE DE L'INNOVATION has the mission to animate the innovation ecosystem attached to the different areas of activity and to ensure its efficient functioning (advancement and renewal of the project pipeline, open-innovation partnerships, feeding the strategic vision of innovation challenges for today and tomorrow).

The knowledge management function is a newly created position within a team of 4 people dedicated to the acceleration and performance of innovation at Avril, which includes a director, an open-innovation officer, an opportunity study officer, and a performance officer for innovation.

Key Responsibilities

The objective of the Chargé Knowledge Management is to centralize and network expertise and information to provide tangible added value to Avril's innovation strategy:

1. Providing researchers at Avril's research centers with quality information management solutions (in the form of tools, facilitation, practices) to enable them to centralize, preserve, structure, and qualify generated knowledge, facilitating the sharing of information and cross-expertise, and protecting know-how.
2. Making useful information available to the entire innovation ecosystem in a targeted and interactive manner, whether scientific and technical, legal and patent monitoring, or the latest results from national and international research, and medium- and long-term trends in target markets.
3. Increasing the power and speed of innovation through the deployment and use of AI tools to accelerate, simplify, and personalize the use of know-how and knowledge created by the group and its subsidiaries.
4. Participating in promoting a culture of innovation at Avril by engaging in actions led by the team to animate the ecosystem and specifically overseeing communication actions on innovation.

Impact and Contributions

The impact of the Chargé Knowledge Management's contribution is expected in two phases:

1. A first phase of structuring these standards, accompanied by a consultation and appropriation process with the teams to prioritize the simplest, fastest, and most pragmatic solutions. Success will be measured by user enthusiasm for adopting these new practices.
2. A second phase of multiplying use cases that will demonstrate the value created by structured sharing of collective expertise, with a continuous improvement plan to maintain an innovation dynamic in knowledge management. Success will be measured directly in contribution to new strategic innovation programs.

National and international travel is expected within the various sites of the group or with partners, as the Chargé Knowledge Management must develop and animate the ecosystem.

Candidate Profile

You hold a Master's degree in engineering or a related field and have 3 to 4 years of successful experience in an industrial group, consulting firm, or a reference research institute in similar responsibilities. You have implemented structuring and ambitious projects in a multi-partner environment and demonstrated a good ability to carry out cross-functional actions with several functions. Ideally, you have already used AI in similar projects.

You thrive in dynamic and innovative environments where initiative and teamwork are recognized and valued. You are organized, versatile, and autonomous. You are curious, open-minded, and passionate about innovation, and you are comfortable with the practices of the research and development world. You enjoy project-based work and have a recognized relational sense that will help you build interactions with very diverse professions and functions.
