The Channel Developer will be responsible for driving growth and digital transformation across various channels. This role encompasses eCommerce management, exploring new business opportunities, and executing full funnel activation projects.
Role Responsibilities
- New Business: Identify and pursue new opportunities in B2B and overseas markets. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative business models and partnerships.
- Ecommerce: Develop and implement strategies for eCommerce platforms, focusing on pure players like Amazon and e-specialists. Build and negotiate annual joint business plans with customers. Enhance click & collect performance through effective initiatives. Analyze eCommerce metrics and optimize sales funnels for higher conversion rates.
- Activation Management: Manage digital marketing (Search, Banners, SEO/SEA) for eCommerce accounts. Oversee projects related to full funnel online activation, including digital campaigns and CRM initiatives. Work with commercial and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and effective campaigns. Monitor and report on activation effectiveness, recommending continuous improvements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a university or business school.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in sales (Category Manager, eCommerce Manager, Business Developer, etc.), preferably within the food or luxury goods industry, with marketing experience or willingness to develop it.
Skills & Behaviors
- Proven negotiation skills
- Strong focus on developing new business, ideally with experience in business gifts
- Experience in the wine and spirits sector, gourmet food, cosmetics, or luxury industries is preferred
- Strong analytical skills to assess markets and performance, with a good understanding of commercial KPIs
- Willingness to develop operational marketing skills, including creating tools for B2B sales and increasing eCommerce visibility
- eCommerce experience is a plus, especially on Amazon
- Proactive and initiative-taker
