Mercy Community Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for full-time and PRN positions in Franklin, TN. You will take vital signs, assist with procedures, and support vaccines and documentation in our primary care team.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and Medical Assistant certification, with BLS preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal and infection-control skills are essential to ensure quality patient care and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Ability to use and document in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and clinical skills with diverse patients.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and environmental protocols.

Responsabilités

• Take vital signs and obtain chief complaints; assist with vaccines and procedures.
• Assist with phlebotomy and simple wound care under protocol.
• Coordinate with primary care team to contact patients about appointments and lab results.
• Set up, clean, and disinfect exam rooms and maintain medical supplies.
• Follow HIPAA and universal precautions in daily care.
