Overview

As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. This role drives our mission: to deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, and to set the standard in the health care industry. Responsibilities include hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills and prior direct patient care experience are required for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) support RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients, prep and test equipment, review treatment sheets, and open the clinic for first shift (e.g., 4am). PCTs combine technical skills with a commitment to building relationships with patients to improve quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. This includes providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan for each patient. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but candidates from ICU, PCU and/or surgery backgrounds are also successful.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in hospital settings (ICU, ER, Rehab, Med/Surg). This role offers a high level of autonomy and accountability for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. Ideal candidates possess leadership, independence and the ability to educate patients while delivering exceptional customer service. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or relevant critical care nursing experience is required.
