Une entreprise de conseil en gestion d'actifs physiques recherche un chef de projet expérimenté pour superviser la construction de Data Centres à Paris. Ce rôle exige une expertise technique, une capacité à gérer des projets complexes et à travailler en étroite collaboration avec des équipes diverses. Qualifications

The role - what is it we would like you to do?

Currie & Brown are looking for experienced construction Project Managers with Data Centres experience to join our Paris team. The role will be responsible for overseeing the construction and Capital expenditure works for the Paris Data Centres. The role will be based in Clichy.

Your core duties will involve:

  • Implementing and standardizing the highest standards of cost, quality and programme control throughout the design and build phases of multiple projects.
  • Advising and leading in contract negotiations to determine design and construction programme and costs, ensuring that the highest quality of service is procured.
  • Negotiating with principal suppliers of major plant and equipment to procure these items prior to the appointment of contractors, ensuring timely placement of orders for long lead items.
  • Playing a leading role in the delivery of the M&E design and assisting M&E Consultants in achieving cost-effective and resilient infrastructures.
  • Conducting regular project review meetings with M & E consultants and contractors both on and off site.
  • Developing project management systems, procedures and processes to ensure successful project completion.
  • Maintaining standards for monitoring design and construction programme, cost control and project information systems.
  • Preparing monthly reports that provide accurate information to the Senior Management team regarding project execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant local permitting and government/local authority regulations.
  • Ensuring all project plans and information are communicated and understood by relevant client staff.
  • Resolving issues and deficiencies, developing and implementing contingency plans to recover project costs and schedule slippage when appropriate.
  • Ensuring the proper and complete handover of the completed works to the Client operations teams.
  • Participating in a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Implementing modern project management and quality assurance techniques.
  • Working closely with the Development Managers, Technical Directors, Regional Construction Managers, Site Operations Managers, Facility Managers/Supervisors regarding the design, construction and progress of the works.
  • Regular liaison with M & E consultants and power authorities to ensure correct design and implementation of electricity supply.
  • Focusing on contractor management and performance, establishing and managing relationships with key stakeholders.

What skills and attributes are we looking for from you:

  • Relevant tertiary degree in a construction-related field.
  • Technical delivery experience within the construction industry, ideally with extensive Data Centre experience.
  • Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills (French and English speaking at professional level).
  • Experience in delivering large capital expenditure projects with a high dependence on M&E.
  • Experience in Mission Critical environments.
  • Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, and commercially astute.
  • A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
  • Risk management/CDM qualifications or experience.
