PERMANENT CONTRACT – Demand Planner (M/F/X)

You will be joining Sephora’s Central Supply Chain department. Within a dynamic team, you will be actively involved in the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process. You will be responsible for ensuring the company’s strategy and commercial vision are reflected through high-quality sales forecasting, taking into account input from all key stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, Marketing).

Responsibilities

• Forecasting & Data Analysis
  • Establish and adjust weekly sales forecasts by analyzing factors influencing sales (events, economic context, etc.).
  • Ensure forecasts remain consistent with sales trends and seasonality.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and identify influencing factors in order to optimise sales forecasting models and methods.
  • Validate the relevance of historical data in the system and document exceptional sales occurrences.
  • Develop strategies for managing forecasts of products being phased out or overstocked.
• Promotional Event Management
  • Analyze the impact of promotions on sales and determine stock requirements in preparation for such events.
• New Product Launches & One-Shots
  • Manage new product launches and “one-shot” items within the forecasting tool.
  • Analyze performance across different markets and adjust replenishment according to actual demand.
  • Manage stock-outs for new product launches.
• Cross-Functional Projects
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of forecasting processes and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Participate in the rollout of a new sales forecasting tool.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in Demand Planning (experience in retail is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills and confidence with numerical data.
• Rigorous, proactive, and eager to work in a challenging environment.
• A strong team player with a dynamic and positive attitude.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent in English, allowing you to interact effectively with various stakeholders across markets.
