Sephora in France is seeking a fixed-term Demand Planner to establish and adjust weekly sales forecasts, aligning with trends and seasonality. Based in Saran (near Orléans), this maternity leave replacement role focuses on forecasting accuracy and stock planning.

You will analyze promotions, launches, and new products, coordinate with local Supply Chain teams, and align forecasts with Finance budgets while improving forecasting processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in Demand Planning, retail experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with numerical data.
• Rigorous, proactive and ready to work in a challenging environment.
• Team player with a dynamic and positive attitude.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English to interact with stakeholders across markets.

Responsabilités

• Establish and adjust weekly sales forecasts by analyzing factors influencing sales.
• Ensure forecasts remain consistent with sales trends and seasonality.
• Analyze forecast accuracy and identify factors to optimize forecasting models and methods.
• Validate the relevance of historical data and document exceptional sales occurrences.
• Develop strategies for forecasts of products being phased out or overstocked.
• Analyze the impact of promotions on sales and determine stock requirements.
• Manage new product launches and one-shot items within the forecasting tool.
• Analyze performance across markets and adjust replenishment according to demand.
• Manage stock-outs for new product launches.
• Participate in and lead meetings with local Supply Chain teams to share information and coordinate activities.
• Align sales forecasts with purchasing budgets defined by Finance, simulate demand scenarios.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting processes and overall supply chain efficiency.
• Participate in the rollout of a new sales forecasting tool.

• Ensure forecasts remain consistent with sales trends and seasonality.
• Analyze forecast accuracy and identify influencing factors to optimize sales forecasting models and methods.
• Validate the relevance of historical data in the system and document exceptional sales occurrences.
• Develop strategies for managing forecasts of products being phased out or overstocked.
• Analyze the impact of promotions on sales and determine stock requirements in preparation for such events.
• Manage new product launches and "one-shot" items within the forecasting tool.
• Analyze performance across different markets and adjust replenishment according to actual demand.
• Manage stock-outs for new product launches.
• Participate in and lead meetings with local Supply Chain teams to share information and coordinate market activities, sales performance, and strategic events.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in Demand Planning (experience in retail is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills and confidence with numerical data.
• Rigorous, proactive, and eager to work in a challenging environment.
• A strong team player with a dynamic and positive attitude.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent in English, allowing you to interact effectively with various stakeholders across markets.
