Sephora Collection, part of the LVMH Group, is seeking a Quality Project Officer on a fixed-term contract based in Neuilly-sur-Seine. You will ensure compliance with Sephora Collection quality requirements throughout product development, production and commercialization stages.

You will work with the project team and suppliers to define action plans, testing protocols and control plans, while monitoring packaging components and addressing non-conformities and market feedback.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a scientific field or engineering.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in cosmetics quality.
  • Proficiency in English and GMP (ISO 22716).
  • Strong organizational, analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

  • Ensure quality of products during launch with project team and suppliers.
  • Participate in risk assessments and define action plans.
  • Define and monitor control plans from development to finished product approval.
  • Lead industrial trials and contribute to product specifications.
  • Oversee release of batches and monitoring of packaging components.
  • Manage non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement and supplier compliance.

This fixed-term position is based in Neuilly-sur-Seine.

As part of the Sephora Collection Quality team, the Quality Project Officer is responsible, throughout the product development, production and commercialization stages, for ensuring compliance with Sephora Collection’s quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements. He/she is an integral part of the project team and is involved from the product development stage, starting with the marketing brief, through to the end of the product’s life cycle. He/she reports to the Quality Manager for his/her product category.

You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions :
  • Work closely with the project team and suppliers to ensure the quality of products during launch:
  • Participate in risk assessments,
  • Define action plans and the associated specific testing protocols,
  • Define and then monitor control plans during the development and industrialization phases through to finished product approval, in line with the established schedule,
  • Participate in industrial trials,
  • Contribute to the development of product specifications,
  • Lead the control of bulk and finished products with suppliers and the Quality Assistant (functional reporting line), and release batches by delegation from the Quality Department,
  • Monitor the control of packaging components at the packaging supplier and contract packer,

You will also be involved in monitoring issues on products already in the range:

  • Manage non-conformities and follow up on action plans,
  • Handle market feedback and customer complaints.

You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement dynamic:

  • Support suppliers in complying with Sephora Collection quality requirements,
  • Report performance indicator follow-up both externally and internally,

You will apply and ensure the application of ISO 22716 and other applicable regulatory requirements, Sephora Collection requirements, and existing procedures.

  • Master’s degree in a scientific field, engineering school or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in quality within the cosmetics industry.
  • Proficiency in operational English and Good Manufacturing Practices (ISO 22716).
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor, analytical mindset, negotiation skills, and ability to make proposals.
  • Adaptability and strong interpersonal skills.
