About our client
Our client, specialized in construction materials, based in Issy-les-Moulineaux or Saint Quentin Fallavier, is looking for a Category Manager - CAPEX F/H for a permanent position.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop the CAPEX purchasing strategy and action plan for your scope, integrating Group directives.
  2. Manage calls for tenders and support project execution, respecting negotiated agreements and deadlines.
  3. Ensure savings within your purchasing family by segment and entity, aligned with expected CAPEX performance in France.
  4. Organize the deployment of CAPEX projects to achieve set savings objectives.
  5. Assist in preparing files for the CAPEX validation committee.
  6. Supervise CAPEX purchasing projects within your scope.
  7. Identify and involve Operations Department partners in the CAPEX purchasing strategy and supplier relationship management.
  8. Lead working groups involving prescribers, internal clients, and project managers.
  9. Monitor execution, deployment, and compliance with framework agreements using relevant indicators.
  10. Analyze deviations in deployment and application of negotiated conditions, report to internal clients, and implement improvement plans.
  11. Design and establish strategic partnerships.
  12. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate and implement continuous improvement plans.
  13. Regularly evaluate supplier performance.
  14. Monitor supplier market and technological and sustainable developments.
  15. Work with the legal department for contractual validation and the finance department to validate savings.
  16. Manage 2 buyers.

Candidate Profile

  1. Higher education in engineering.
  2. 7 to 10 years of proven experience leading construction projects in industry.
  3. Strong negotiation skills and project-based purchasing process management.
  4. Knowledge of SAP and Excel is desirable.
  5. Fluent in English.

Conditions and Benefits

Salary: €70,000 - €90,000 gross annually over 13 months (+10% bonus + profit-sharing)
