Internship Opportunity at Euronext

The intern will join a multicultural team based in Paris, with strong connections across Euronext locations such as Milan, London, and Amsterdam.

The Equities Team pursues the following missions:

• Maximize volumes, market share, and revenues of the Cash Equity trading franchise;
• Manage trading fees and market-making programs;
• Maintain client relationships with global banks, retail brokers, market makers, and hedge funds;
• Project management for new equity trading functionalities;
• Conduct market research and collaborate with the Quant Research Team.

Key priorities for the intern:

• Analyze equity trading volumes based on client clusters (market makers, global banks, local brokers) across all Euronext markets;
• Monitor market share evolution versus alternative trading venues and prepare reports for top management;
• Support growth of new projects and trading functionalities through client sales pitches and marketing campaigns;
• Contribute to research publications on market quality and order book evolution;
• Propose innovative ideas to enhance Euronext's product offerings.

Your profile:

• Excellent academic background; all majors welcome, with a preference for hard sciences (finance, computer science, math, statistics, and related fields);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experienced in handling datasets;
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
• Coding skills (Python, VBA, PowerBI) are a strong advantage;
• Curious, team-oriented, able to work effectively under tight deadlines, autonomous when necessary, with strong communication skills;
• Fluent in English; additional fluency in French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Dutch, or Norwegian is a plus, given our market activities;
• Availability to start in June 2025 for a 6-month internship based in Paris.
