Carbonfact is seeking a Carbon Analyst intern starting January 2027 to join our Paris office. You will support the Customer Operations team on Corporate Carbon Accounting projects, handling real data and customer accounts.

You'll gain hands-on experience in carbon accounting, develop analytical and organizational skills in a fast-growing startup, and have the potential for a full-time CDI offer based on performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in France.
• At least 6 months of prior internship experience.
• Proficient with data: Excel/Google Sheets at minimum; data analysis exposure is a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Curious, proactive, and receptive to feedback.
• High fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Carbon Analyst internship

We are looking for Carbon Analyst interns starting from January 2027.

During the internship, you will work closely with members of our Customer Operations team to support brands with their Corporate Carbon Accounting (CCA) projects. This work is the core of how we help customers measure and validate their footprint.

You’ll work on real customer accounts and real data, collaborating with all teams at Carbonfact and contributing to improving our platform. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in carbon accounting and develop analytical and organizational skills in a fast-growing startup environment.

Your missions

• Support the Customer Operations team on customer accounts (e.g. processing and structuring customer data, answering and triaging recurring questions)

• Analyze CCA reports and compare with previous ones, to clearly explain changes and trends to customers

• Report bugs and test new features before product releases - we ship continuously, and your perspectives from working closely with customers are valuable to our Product team

Who you are

• Currently completing a Master's degree or equivalent in France, with at least 6 months of prior internship experience

• Previous internship experience required, ideally with exposure to carbon accounting, LCA, or sustainability data

• Proficient with data: Excel/Google Sheets at minimum, any exposure to data analysis tools is a plus

• Organized, detail-oriented, and performing well under deadlines

• Curious, proactive, and highly receptive to feedback

• High fluency and mastery in English, both written and verbal

Practical details

• Contract type: Convention de stage (tripartite agreement with your school), a CDD or apprenticeship contract cannot be substituted for this role

• Duration: 6 months, full-time

• Location: our Paris office

• Gratification: €1,200 - €1,400 per month based on experience

• Potential to receive a full‑time CDI offer in 2027 based on internship performance

Interview process

• Initial screening call with a member of the Customer Operations team

• A take‑home exercise and live restitution reflecting the kind of work you'd handle during the internship

• Principles interview with the hiring manager
