These applications are exploding in use all over the world and allow you to pay with your phone and save everything you usually put in your wallet onto your phone and a lot more: Loyalty cards, offers, coupons, e-reservations, access badges, boarding passes, insurance cards, concert or event tickets, etc.

Captain Wallet, recently acquired by Brevo, is the leading European SaaS platform that enables brands to connect to wallets like Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Wallets create a highly personalized and effective communication channel directly on mobile devices, allowing brands to engage with consumers efficiently. We are a team of 30 employees serving over 200 key accounts worldwide, including Intersport, Monoprix, McDonald's, Le Bon Marché, Malakoff Humanis, Sandro, Décathlon, Sephora, Courir, Lacoste, Sarenza, Auchan, and L’Occitane, across more than 150 countries.

As a Business Development Representative at Captain Wallet, you will focus on growing the French market. Your responsibilities include generating business opportunities by following established processes and testing new approaches to prospect into business accounts. Collaborating with sales management and marketing teams, you will build target account lists and reach out to prospects via email, LinkedIn, and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities. You will conduct high-level conversations with senior executives regarding their business, marketing challenges, and operations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, methodical, tenacious, and able to interact effectively with a team. This role offers advancement potential within the sales organization and includes a commission structure. Reporting to the BDR team lead, you will help shape the process to target key accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for rapid growth as the team scales.

As a Business Development Representative, you will:

  1. Learn, develop, and execute processes to generate new sales opportunities
  2. Strategize with the head of sales and team members
  3. Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, personnel, and existing technology
  4. Engage with executives in targeted prospect accounts
  5. Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
  6. Leverage CRM tools to prospect into specific territories and sectors
  7. Collaborate with sales managers to close deals and acquire new clients

What will contribute to your success:

  • 2+ years of proven sales experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Experience with Salesforce and G Suite is a plus
  • Knowledge of industries such as multi-channel marketing, content marketing, e-commerce, digital and mobile marketing, retail, or direct-to-consumer brands is a plus
