ixolabs.ai is seeking a Cantonese Audio Evaluator to ensure pronunciation accuracy, natural intonation, and cultural authenticity in AI-generated Cantonese speech. Start immediately with flexible 15-25 hours per week to analyze samples, provide structured feedback, and help calibrate evaluation standards.

Ideal candidates have native Cantonese, strong phonology knowledge, and experience with audio analysis tools. Remote work is supported, and collaboration across a global team is expected.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in Cantonese with deep understanding of tones and phonology.
• Exceptional auditory discrimination and sensitivity to speech nuances.
• Background in linguistics, phonetics, or speech technology, especially tonal languages.
• Experience with audio editing tools for detailed analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with speech evaluation rubrics or QA in voice tech.

Responsabilités

• Systematically evaluate AI-generated Cantonese audio samples for pronunciation accuracy, tonal correctness, and naturalness.
• Identify and categorize phonetic errors, incorrect tones, and unnatural prosody.
• Assess emotional congruence between vocal delivery and text sentiment.
• Provide detailed, actionable feedback on speech quality, rhythm, and fluency.
• Use proprietary evaluation tools to mark and segment problematic audio regions.
• Participate in calibration sessions to maintain consistent evaluation standards.
