The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for all research, design, development, test, and qualification of camera hardware for Apple products. This team is seeking an exceptional Camera Image Quality Validation Engineer with responsibilities for ongoing evaluation, benchmarking and characterization of Apple camera products. Additional responsibilities include:• Work closely with cross functional team, support the entire development cycle of Apple cameras, from early prototype to product launch• Lead image quality validation at component and system levels• Comprehensively characterize and quantitatively assess camera performance and image quality• Feedback and contribute to refinement and improvement of camera design and process• Develop image processing algorithm for image quality metrics• Incubate new metrology for next-generation Apple products and support technology transfer from lab to production sites• Deliver executive level presentations of results
