Albertsons Companies in France is seeking a Cake Decorator to bring artistry to our pastry displays. You will decorate cakes and pastries, select colors, and craft icing flowers to delight customers, while taking orders over the phone or in-store when needed.

This role emphasizes creativity, pride in work, and community spirit. You’ll collaborate with fellow associates and help keep shelves replenished, ensuring an inviting, high-quality bakery that reflects our values of service and belonging.

Qualifications

• Ability to decorate cakes with icing and flowers to a consistent, visually appealing standard.
• Strong eye for color, texture and presentation to enhance display quality.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to seasonal offerings.
• Excellent communication with customers and fellow staff during busy times.

Responsabilités

• Decorate cakes and pastries with icing, borders, and decorative flowers.
• Take customer orders in-store and by phone, ensuring accuracy and timing.
• Restock and replenish display cases and shelves to keep bakery appealing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area and tools.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production and service goals.

A Day In The Life

As a Cake Decorator, no one day is ever the same. You will use your artistic and creative design skills to put the \"icing on the cake\" on beautifully decorated cakes and pastries for our customers. You will be successful because you are passionate about decorating and have the creativeness to mix just the right colors to create the perfect icing and flowers for our cakes and pastries. When you’re not putting your creative juices to the test, you are taking customers’ orders over the phone or in store and replenishing the display cases and shelves.
