We are looking for a CAD Support Engineer (M/F) to join our CAD team based in Meylan (38). As a key facilitator of innovation, your role will be essential in supporting the constant evolution of our business.

As a CAD Support Engineer (M/F), your mission will be to provide technical support to integrated circuit designers. With your expertise, you will help identify and implement the most effective solutions, thereby accelerating innovation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional product quality.

Your main missions will be to:

• Support digital design teams in their use of provided flows, EDA software, and PDKs (Process Design Kits).
• Work on tool implementation to facilitate design work: how to set up user gates, choose the right tool, and use it effectively.
• Develop scripts (flows) dedicated to the design of digital circuits in different languages (mainly Python), based on EDA software (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens).
• Propose improvements to design flows to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Conduct technological watches (studies and benchmarks) on EDA software and new methodologies.
• Participate in writing application notes, provide training, and demonstrations to digital integrated circuit designers.
• Maintain contact with EDA software (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens) and PDK (TSMC, Samsung, Global Foundries, etc.) suppliers.

We are looking for an experienced CAD engineer, with significant experience (5 to 10 years). Ideally with a comprehensive knowledge of the flow and all its stages.

If you were previously a digital designer and are looking to redefine your career path by moving towards more methodology, you could be the ideal candidate for this position.

You have a good understanding of the EDA tools used in digital Front-End (Questa, Xcelium, DC) and Back-End (Innovus, ICCII, Voltus) flows.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills. You enjoy being in direct contact with teams and providing valuable design support.

You can write scripts and use software development languages, mainly Python.
