EGIDE in Paris Region is offering a 6-month internship focused on Command and Control (C2) for radar-based localization, identification, and engagement matching with multi-interceptor operations.
You will explore track-to-track association, build simulation environments, and design algorithms to fuse radar tracks with interceptor navigation data, while calibrating radar biases in real time and solving interceptor-to-target assignment challenges.
Location: Paris Region (on-site)
Sector: Next-generation European Defense / Counter-UAS
Type: Internship (6 months)
Start date: February 2027 (flexible)
Compensation: 1500€/month
EGIDE is building Europe’s next defense champion. We design autonomous interceptor systems to counter emerging aerial threats, including kamikaze and loitering drones. Our mission goes beyond the interceptor itself: our command-and-control layer must coordinate simultaneous salvos, interpret ambiguous radar data in real time, and ensure every interceptor knows friend from foe.
This is a great place to do an internship: you’ll join a small, ambitious team in a fast-moving field, work hands-on on radar fusion, tracking and engagement logic, and get direct exposure to the full C2 chain, from algorithms and simulation to a live operator display.
As part of pre-projects for future products and evolutions of existing systems, this internship focuses on the Command and Control (C2) challenge of radar-based localization, identification, and engagement matching during multi-interceptor operations.
In future scenarios, we will launch N interceptors at the same time against k targets. A single radar — with more to be added later — will detect a subset of targets and some potential targets. We need to automatically:
Your mission will include:
You will work closely with our engineering team to bring your solutions from theory to practice. Your work will have a direct impact on the reliability of our future C2 systems.
