Jobtailor is seeking a software engineer to develop components for robot-assisted surgical systems using modern C++ and Qt6. You will participate in the full development lifecycle from specification through deployment, and collaborate on interfaces with robotics, navigation and medical imaging modules.

Outline includes designing algorithms for 3D geometry and spatial transforms, maintaining high quality via CI, testing, code reviews and adherence to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS, software engineering or applied mathematics.
• Strong OO C++ and solid software design practices.
• Experience with Qt, Git, CMake and industrial development environments.
• Interest or experience in 3D geometry, linear algebra or scientific computing.
• Professional working proficiency in English and ability to operate under IEC 62304 and ISO 14971.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the full development lifecycle: specifications, architecture, coding, testing and documentation.
• Design and integrate user interfaces with Qt6 connected to robotics, navigation and medical imaging systems.
• Develop algorithms related to 3D geometry, spatial transformations and changes of reference frames.
• Ensure the quality and compliance of developments through testing, code reviews, continuous integration and adherence to medical industry standards.
