Qualifications

• Au moins 3 ans d'expérience avec C++14 ou plus récent.
• Compétence avec le contrôle de version git/mercurial.
• Expérience avec des outils de gestion de référentiels en ligne.

Responsabilités

• Développer de nouvelles fonctionnalités pour des logiciels de bio-imagerie.
• Analyser et corriger les bogues dans le code.
• Améliorer l'architecture et la base de code existante.

We are seeking a C++ Software Engineer, Cachan, to join our Software engineering team.

You will be part of a team releasing a state-of-the-art innovative BioImaging software solution, from firmware to acquisition and analysis.

The C++ Software Engineer will report to the Software Manager.

Your key responsibilities:

• Developing new functionalities
• Challenging the product team by specifying functionality, architecture, implementation, testing, and improving the code base
• Bug analysis and fixing
• Preemptive improvements such as refactoring and additional testing
• Architecture improvements including libraries and classes

Your qualifications:

• Engineering degree or M2 degree, preferably in Computing Science
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with C++14 or more recent
• Proficiency with git / mercurial version control
• Experience with online repository management tools and CI (GitLab, GitHub, ...)
• Experience with test frameworks (GTest, Catch2, boost, ...)
• Ability to be concise and synthetic in communication
• Proficiency in English
• Bonus skills include experience with Qt5 or Qt6, multithread programming, library and software architecture, CMake, and Python ecosystem knowledge
• Interest in BioImaging
