Job summary

Stormshield is seeking a Linux C Developer in Paris to evolve and maintain our firewall portfolio within the SNS team. You will collaborate in a Scrum environment and contribute to firmware features, networking stack enhancements, and issue diagnosis.

The role requires at least 5 years of hands-on C/C++ experience, with a strong focus on TCP/IP networking and Unix-like systems. Remote work is allowed 3 days per week, supported by a hybrid on-site arrangement.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in C/C++ development.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking and UNIX-like environments.
• Experience with firmware development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reproduce customer issues and diagnose them.

To continue our growth, we are looking for a Linux C Developer.

Manager of the SNS team, Vincent is recruiting to evolve and maintain our Stormshield Network Security firewall portfolio. We are looking for motivated people with at least 5 years of experience and, ideally, a solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

What are the responsibilities of the C-Linux Developer ?

• Reproduce customer issues and diagnose them;

• Maintain and enhance existing products;

• Develop new features within the firmware embedded in our products;

• Document the progress of your developments and/or the solution.

What is the technical environment?

• Technical stack: C, C++, FreeBSD

• Ecosystem: Unix

• Virtualised environments: VMware

Which team?

You will join one of the SNS teams. Each team comprises about twenty people (Developers, Testers, TechLeaders, Scrum Master, Product Owner). You will become part of a Scrum Team of 5‑7 members (Scrum/Kanban). Teamwork is at the heart of our way of working because development is collaborative. Teams are self‑managed and own their delivery commitments.

Which product?

You will work on Stormshield firewalls, which make up our Stormshield Network Security (SNS) range. By securing the network, an enterprise firewall protects a company from most cyber‑attacks. For more information about our products, visit our dedicated page on Stormshield firewalls.
