PoissonSoftware in the Paris area is seeking a C++ Software Engineer to work on our 3D CAD platform, covering core infrastructure and applications. This on-site role is based in Boulogne-Billancourt, within the Paris region.

You will develop C++ code for CAD infrastructure and applications, optimize performance for large assemblies, interact with geometry kernels, solvers, and visualization engines, and collaborate with product, UX, and CAD experts to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in C++ for CAD platforms.
• Strong knowledge of 3D geometry and CAD concepts.
• Experience with large assemblies and performance considerations.
• Ability to work across infrastructure and application layers.

Responsabilités

• Develop C++ code for CAD infrastructure and applications
• Develop algorithms and data structures for performance in large-scale assemblies visualization and geometry checking
• Contribute to CAD core topics: data model, update graph, parameters, behaviors
• Interact with geometry kernels, constraint solvers, and visualization engines
• Improve performance, robustness, and scalability
• Collaborate with product, UX, and CAD expert teams
• Understand 3D geometry and CAD concepts
• Work on both infrastructure and application-level code
• Gain experience with CAD architectures, performance, or AI for engineering
• Explore specialized CAD domains like Sheet Metal, Fastening, Welding
