C-24-17 Consultancy in Communications to develop knowledge products for the VBS in Quezon City

The consultant selected will be responsible for the knowledge product development of the vendor business school (VBS) piloting in Quezon City.

Objectives:

1. Edit and lay-out VBS publications such as assessment reports, policy briefs, process documentation reports.
   
2. Prepare the digitalization of VBS curriculum and distribute via social media.
   
3. Assist in the production of a compilation of VBS vendors stories.
   
4. Produce VBS videos and posters.
   
5. Assist in preparations and organizing VBS events (graduation and workshops) and its promotions.
   
6. Coordinate with focal person and interns in the development of these knowledge products.

Requirements

Qualifications/special skills:

• Degree in Development Communication (advanced degree preferred).
  
• More than 10 years of professional experience in preparation and implementation of communication and knowledge management activities such as preparing social media posts, press releases, videos, and posters.
  
• Experience in writing, editing, proofreading, and layout of various knowledge products including online training materials, reports, and other publications.
  
• Extensive experience in the development of training and promotional materials and knowledge products.
  
• Practical experience in the documentation of participatory community projects and approaches.
  
• Experience in events planning/organizing and media/press management are favorable.
  

Expected duration and conditions:

• This consultancy contract is for 6 months from June to December 2024.
  
• The payment is a fixed and consolidated fee.
  
• The venue for the interview will be informed only to the shortlisted candidates.
