Managing a $28.5 billion spend worldwide, we provide efficient and reliable services to internal customers.

Industrial Services & Spare Parts accounts for 10% of this spend and operates at 8 sites in 6 countries (Spain, Germany, France, Poland, Belgium, and Italy).

About the role

  • Actively participate in strategic procurement activities for Technical Parts.
  • Analyze spend in France and drive cost reduction.
  • Work closely with internal customers at sites to ensure effective strategic procurement and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with Lead Buyers on supply market research, price benchmarks, and supplier profiling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute supplier selection, monitor, and validate negotiations, e-auctions, POs, and contracting for mills/sites for POs ranging from 1,500 to 20,000. The buyer oversees the RFQ process conducted by the BCOE team.
  • Develop and maintain a supplier panel, including suppliers from emerging markets like China, Turkey, and South Korea.
  • Monitor contract (PO) compliance.
  • Deliver savings and KPI targets for subcategories, and support Lead Buyers with analyses such as spend data analysis and performance reporting.
  • Ensure effective procurement and business continuity through collaboration with internal customers.
  • Participate in transversal working groups and projects.
  • Analyze repetitive spot items and ensure their inclusion in contracts.

Your profile

  • You have a mechanical technical background.
  • You hold a master’s degree in Economics, Procurement, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • You have a successful track record in procurement or mechanical engineering, familiar with main suppliers’ panels for mechanical products.
  • You possess strong commercial acumen. 1-3 years of financial analysis experience is an asset.
  • You are a proactive buyer with problem-solving, analytical skills, and comfort with numbers.
  • You have good technical knowledge of contracts, systems, project management, and negotiation.
  • You demonstrate leadership, strong communication skills, and an interest in industry trends and market analysis.
  • You are result-oriented, customer-focused, able to work under deadlines, and adaptable to change.
  • You are fluent in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
