Job summary

Celestal seeks an experienced Buyer to drive procurement for major oil & gas projects in Nice, France. You will develop procurement plans, source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency while supporting project managers.

This role requires proven experience in oil & gas procurement, proficiency with procurement software and MS Office, and strong negotiation and analytical skills to deliver on budget and schedule.

We're looking for an experienced Buyer with a strong procurement background to play a key role in project and operations execution.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement plans based on project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Source and evaluate suppliers in line with strategic sourcing frameworks, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with suppliers while mitigating risks and aligning with the Category Management team as needed.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and company policies.
• Ensure procurement activities align with budget constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on procurement status, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
