CELESTAL is seeking an experienced Buyer to support major oil & gas projects by handling procurement for international clients. You will play a key role in project and operations execution, developing procurement plans and managing supplier relations.

The ideal candidate has proven procurement experience in oil & gas, strong negotiation skills, proficiency with procurement software and MS Office, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment on global initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement within the oil & gas sector.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of purchasing tools, strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract management, and project procurement strategy.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, reporting, and costing abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement procurement plans based on project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Source and evaluate suppliers in line with strategic sourcing frameworks, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with suppliers while mitigating risks and aligning with the Category Management team as needed.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and company policies.
• Ensure procurement activities align with budget constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on procurement status, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Commercial Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, reporting, and product costing capabilities.
