About the Organization

St Luke’s General Hospital, Kilkenny is a General Hospital serving Carlow and Kilkenny, with a bed capacity of 344 and services to the surrounding counties. The hospital is part of the Ireland East Hospital Group.

Responsibilities

The post holder will be required to support the operational function of the Senior Hospital Management Team at St Luke’s General Hospital Carlow/Kilkenny. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide reports on hospital activity and performance
  • Monitor and track performance targets
  • Ensure high quality data through validation processes
  • Engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide general administration support to the Senior Hospital Management Team
  • Support and lead on new initiatives in collaboration with the Scheduled Care Manager to achieve key performance indicators
Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge of information technology, systems, computer hardware and software, particularly iPMS
  • Excel data analysis and calculation and Database management
  • Experience of supporting and training users on system applications
  • Administrative and management capabilities
