Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead

Locations: Paris, France OR London, UK OR Ipswich, UK

As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead will support cross-functional/cross-BU programs in solution design and delivery. Building on knowledge of processes and systems, they will partner with business units, IT, and other functions to guarantee the successful roll-out of initiatives.

The Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead will autonomously shape and own program-wide deliverables within the BSDD scope, which may include coordinating multiple sub-projects or workstreams for large transversal programs involving AXA XL's most complex transformation initiatives. This may involve leading several internal or external teams.

The candidate will be expected to self-direct and deliver solutions on large cross-functional programs. Coordination and program-wide leadership within BSDD deliverables and robust stakeholder management are key for success.

This role involves responsibilities to ensure operational readiness, including:

• Identifying business solutions through workshops and interviews, analyzing, documenting, and managing C-suite stakeholders to drive optimal outcomes.
• Defining and documenting target designs for strategic decisions.
• Applying change management tools to drive adoption and benefits realization.
• Defining processes for continuous improvement.
• Acting as a Business Advisor, ensuring high-quality deliverables and documentation.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to act as a thought partner and challenge for optimal outcomes.
• Managing interdependencies between change initiatives and developing holistic change strategies.
• Providing guidance to team members involved in development opportunities.

This role reports to the Team Lead of Business Solution Design and Delivery.

We seek candidates with these skills:

Technical Skills:

Certifications and experience in one or more of the following:

• Change Management, assessing impact and executing activities; PROSCI certification preferred.
• Process Definition and Continuous Improvement; Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Consulting experience with tools for assessment, solutioning, visualization, and implementation of business problems.

Other Skills:

• Experience managing large-scale programs across multiple dimensions in the insurance industry in an international environment.
• Skills in documenting and visualizing design decisions and progress.
• Mentoring skills and supporting junior colleagues.
• Excellent stakeholder management to achieve business outcomes.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and solutioning skills, with effective social/soft skills, and confidence in challenging business functions.
