Job summary

CMA CGM Group in Marseille seeks a Business Process Senior Specialist to lead accounting process ownership and transformation across SAP/SAGE platforms. You will drive roadmap, ensure process quality, and partner with Finance heads regional offices.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years in finance operations, IFRS knowledge, ERP experience, and strong leadership in a multinational, matrix environment. Fluency in English and French is preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Finance or related field with strong academic performance.
• Minimum 7+ years experience in finance operations, transformation or audit.
• Experience in multinational, matrix organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and roadmap for finance processes across the org.
• Ensure process quality, documentation and governance with Finance teams.
• Lead finance projects and deployments; coordinate with IT and business.
• Drive process optimization and risk management within accounting streams.

YOUR ROLE

The Process Owner Accounting manages Finance processes, projects and improvements and reports to the Global Process Owner lead. The role combines process ownership, functional decision rights and transformation leadership while keeping operational accountability close to the business.The scope of intervention covers all accounting systems (LISA/SAP, OCEAN, SAGE) as well as the related organization and processes.The Process Owner team is organized by accounting stream (Process Owner P2P for purchase to pay, Process Owner O2C for order to cash and Process Owner R2R for record to report).

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Vision and roadmap:

Process Owner is responsible for coordinating and maximizing value creation by translating business priorities into a governed roadmap, protecting Core Model consistency, and ensuring that solutions are adopted and deliver measurable outcomes across the Group. The vision should be aligned with the strategic themes of the organization and includes a long-term direction for the overall solution as well as a short-term vision

Process quality, efficiency & documentation:

Process Owner is responsible for the documentation and implementation of new processes as well as the improvement of existing processes in interaction with the business and Finance departments (Finance / Accounting Head Office & Regional Offices, Internal control, GBS, FICOM, FiPP)

Finance projects / transformation:

Process Owner is contributing to on-going transformation projects of our finance organization

Finance projects / deployments:

Process Owner is contributing to system deployment in interaction with the business and IT teams

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Master degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Business School, Engineering School (Finance option)
• You gained relevant professional experience (7+ years) in Finance operations, accounting, process ownership, transformation, audit or consulting, ideally in a multinational and matrix organization
• Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles and standards, including IFRS, and of process risk and internal control
• Good knowledge of ERP and Finance systems such as SAP or SAGE
• Demonstrated experience working in/with a Shared Service Center is a plus
• Project management skills, process optimization
• You are a team player and looking to work in a multifunctional agile team and have previously demonstrated your leadership skills
• You have a hands-on approach and an analytical mindset
• You enjoy travelling and working in a project environment
• As a communication talent, you are fluent in written and spoken English and French is strongly preferred for the headquarters environment
