Job summary

CMA CGM Marseille is seeking a Digital Project Manager for IMO and EU Compliance to oversee the deployment of CO2 monitoring tools across the Shipping division. You will coordinate business, technical and functional teams to ensure aligned decarbonization initiatives and timely delivery of projects in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong background in project management, data processes, and BI tools, with fluent English and French.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar project management position.
• Engineering degree in project management or related field.
• Data process knowledge.
• Experience in shipping or complex organizations.
• Decarbonation knowledge.
• Solid experience in project management including Product Owner skills.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Knowledge of BI technologies and tools (Power BI, SQL, Qlik Sense).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CO2 tools alignment across CMA CGM applications ensuring features coverage and data consistency.
• Align CO2 monitoring processes across CMA CGM tools.
• Conduct studies with risk analyses and action plans.
• Coordinate with business, technical, and functional teams.
• Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders and management; ensure compliance with CMA CGM methods.
• Manage and supervise multiple project types.
• Define objectives, deadlines, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Create presentations and status reports for COMEX, demos, etc.

YOUR ROLE

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the implementation and coordination of various tools and projects supporting the Shipping division’s decarbonization trajectory. You will work closely with business, technical and functional teams to ensure their successful delivery and alignment with the Group’s CO2 monitoring objectives.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

• CO2 tools Group alignment: Ensure consistency between all CO2 monitoring CMA CGM applications regarding features coverage and data alignment.
• CO2 monitoring process alignment: Ensure ownership & monitoring process consistency between all CO2 CMA CGM tools.
• Study & risk analysis: Provide studies with risk analysis and related action plans
• Team Coordination: Ensure transversal coordination with business experts, technical, and functional teams
• Reporting and Compliance: Provide regular reports on project status to stakeholders and management, and ensure compliance with CMA CGM methods
• Project Management and Supervision: You shall manage and supervise various types of projects
• Objective Definition: Define project objectives, deadlines, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders
• Project Monitoring and Management: Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and budget, identify and manage potential risks, and ensure the quality of deliverables
• Presentation support: create support for various types of presentations (status report, COMEX, demo etc…)

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

• Engineer or University degree in project management, or a related field.
• Project management certifications (e.g., AGILE, SAFe) are an advantage.
• A minimum of 7 years of previous experience in a similar position.
• Data process knowledge
• Previous experience in the shipping industry or in complex organization
• Decarbonation knowledge

• Solid experience in project management (incl. Product Owner skills)
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• English and French fluent
