Ecolab is seeking a Business Process Analyst (Short term contract of 18 months) to lead the effort to capture, clarify, and manage business requirements. In this role you will identify, document, and validate business requirements used by the technical team to provide functionality necessary to meet business objectives. This position willwork as a liaison with various stakeholders and should be capable of defining project scope and objectives while understanding how to apply technology to meet the business requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

What You Will Do:

  • Act as technical lead for projects, interacting with business partners to collaboratively define solutions to address key opportunities
  • Maintain project information and provide accurate project status updates to stakeholders
  • Translate business objectives into requirements to facilitate key deliverables
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks early to minimize impact to business
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve current solutions and processes
  • Formulate and define project scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
  • Responsible for understanding the technology, business processes and opportunities in the context of the technical and business requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
  • Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, document and validate requirements for changes to business processes, revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary
  • Ensure testing requirements are met and document business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field
  • 8 years of IT experience
  • Experience working in a business environment performing analysis, gathering requirements, and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Project management training or experience
  • Proven ability to resolve problems independently and take appropriate action in a timely and professional manner
