The Business Marketing Director will work with senior leaders and subject matter experts to develop and implement engaging, measurable global marketing strategies aligned with IQVIA’s Real World Solutions (RWS) business goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong life science background including life science marketing experience, outstanding writing skills, strong visual and verbal communication skills, and a passion for creativity and innovation. We are looking for a strong team player with the ability to build effective working groups.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the Marketing partner to senior sales and operations leaders to align on priorities, strategies, and messaging.
  2. Become the subject matter expert for specific business areas.
  3. Utilize customer insights to guide Marketing programming.
  4. Monitor and analyze internal and external data, market research, and customer insights to develop business insights, implications, and recommendations for action.
  5. Develop, implement, and measure Marketing plans for assigned areas within the RWS organization.
  6. Develop value propositions and messaging; support internal roll-out and ensure inclusion of messages throughout marketing material.
  7. Design digital campaigns to amplify messages and drive high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads.
  8. Manage team members to ensure successful marketing program delivery and career growth. Support and drive collaboration between Business Leaders, Inside Sales, and Sales to ensure seamless implementation of customer-centric marketing strategies. Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Marketing teams across IQVIA.
  9. Manage project budgets. Oversee contractors, vendors, and agencies to deliver on-brand, high-quality deliverables within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or business. A minimum of 10 years’ experience developing successful marketing plans for the life sciences. Preferred experience in life sciences, CRO, or life sciences agency. Strong digital marketing experience with a focus on ROI tracking. Go-to-market experience with demonstrated collaboration with sales. Proven event management and strategic planning skills.
  • Leadership skills include strong interpersonal abilities, building cross-functional relationships, and working with all organizational levels. Self-starter with a proactive attitude, able to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strategic and innovative thinking, with a desire for continuous learning. Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting both live and remotely.
  • Personal qualities include curiosity, growth mindset, a sense of fun, and energy.
