Allianz Global Investors seeks a highly motivated temporary professional to support a strategic cross-continental separation and integration program under the firm’s Merger & Acquisition endeavor. Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in consulting, project delivery, transformation, asset management, or financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to structure complex information in a concise and organized manner.
• Strong stakeholder management and organizational skills.
• Experience in business transformation or operating model change is advantageous.
• Familiarity with investment/asset management is beneficial.
• AI skills: Data Analytics, Data Visualization, ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated support to the Investment Workstream Lead, coordinating and driving workstream activities.
• Track activities, milestones, dependencies, risks and action items with stakeholders.
• Prepare materials, presentations, analysis and status updates for governance forums and senior management.
• Coordinate information gathering across Investments, Product, Risk, Operations, Technology, Finance and HR.
• Support workshops and stakeholder meetings, including agenda, minutes and tracking.
• Assist Workstream Lead in reporting, implementation plans and readiness activities.
• Consolidate inputs from stakeholders and translate discussions into outputs.
• Maintain inventories, trackers, process docs, and decision logs.
• Support testing, validation and business readiness for Closing and separation period.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and project support as required.

AllianzGI's CIO Office supports the leadership of the Public Markets Investment Platform in the areas of strategy development and execution, governance, business management and strategic transformation initiatives.

We are seeking a highly motivated temporary individual to support a dedicated Project, a strategic cross-continental separation and integration program under the firm’s Merger & Acquisition endeavor. Working closely with senior leaders across Public Markets, the successful candidate will contribute to planning, implementation, stakeholder coordination, business analysis, and operational readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle.

The role offers broad exposure to investment management, business transformation and organizational change, with extensive interaction across Investments, Product, Risk, Operations, Technology, Finance, and other corporate functions.

The role is based in our Paris or Frankfurt office.

What You Do

• Act as a dedicated support to the Investment Workstream Lead, working closely with the project consulting team to coordinate and drive workstream activities throughout the programme
• Track workstream activities, milestones, dependencies, risks and action items, ensuring timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders
• Prepare materials, presentations, analysis and status updates for governance forums, steering committees, and senior management discussions
• Coordinate information gathering and documentation efforts across Investments, Product, Risk, Operations, Technology, Finance and HR functions
• Support organization and facilitation of workshops, working sessions and stakeholder meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes, and action tracking
• Assist the Workstream Lead in managing workstream reporting, implementation plans, and operational readiness activities
• Consolidate inputs from multiple stakeholders and translate complex discussions into clear, structured, and actionable outputs
• Maintain separation-related inventories, deliverable trackers, process documentation, and decision logs
• Support testing, validation and business readiness activities required to facilitate a smooth transition through Closing and the subsequent separation period
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, research, and project support activities as required by the Workstream Lead.

What You Bring

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in consulting, project delivery, transformation, asset management, or financial services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to structure complex information in a concise and organized manner
• Strong stakeholder management and organizational skills
• Experience supporting business transformation or operating model change initiatives is advantageous
• Familiarity with investment management or asset management industry is beneficial
• Ability to think strategically
• High degree of self-organization and proactive attitude
• Ability to deal with time pressure and multiple topics at the same time
• English proficient, any other language a plus
• Good knowledge of AllianzGI and the structure/setup of its investment platform would be a plus
• Knowledge of southeast Asian asset management industry would be a plus
• AI Skills: Data Analytics, Data Visualization, ChatGPT.
