Pernod Ricard is seeking its next Business Law Competition, Distribution & Litigation Intern in January 2027, based in Paris. You will be part of the Global Markets & GTR Legal team, supporting lawyers in daily missions.

Key tasks include legal research on Economic Law, compliance program development, monitoring litigation, and contract drafting and negotiation within the Group. The role offers a central Paris workplace with some home-working options.

Qualifications

• Solid legal training in Competition & Distribution law.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a team with flexibility and rigor.
• At least 6 months' experience in legal departments or international law firms.

Responsabilités

• Assist in legal research related to Economic Law (Competition & Distribution).
• Assist in development and implementation of Internal Compliance program related to Competition law & antitrust (e.g. policies, risk assessment tools, mitigation measures).
• Assist in monitoring litigation matters in the Group.
• Assist in negotiation, drafting and monitoring of contracts set up within the Group and with third parties (e.g. regional distribution & procurement contracts).
• Follow-up and record contracts and their amendments in the Group databases.
• Assist with contract management: drafting letters of formal notice or termination, and renewal amendments.

You will be part of the Global Markets & GTR Legal team, within the Legal Department of Pernod Ricard S.A., to support the lawyers in their daily missions.

Your key missions

• Assist in legal research related to Economic Law (Competition & Distribution) related to Pernod Ricard's business in several jurisdictions
• Assist in the development and implementation of the Group's Internal Compliance program related to Competition law & antitrust (e.g. policies, risk assessment tools, mitigation measures, etc)
• Assist in monitoring litigation matters in the Group.
• Assist in the negotiation, drafting and monitoring of contracts set up within the Group and with third parties (e.g. regional distribution & procurement contracts, ) in the various Management Entities of the Group
• Follow-up and record contracts and their amendments in the Group databases
• Assist with contract management: drafting letters of formal notice or termination, and renewal amendments

Requirements

• Master II student or trainee lawyer
• Solid legal training in Competition & Distribution law
• At least 6 months' experience in the legal departments of major companies and/or in international business law firms
• Excellent level of written and spoken English (fluency in another language would be a plus)
• Good writing skills
• Ability to work as part of a team, open-mindedness
• Flexibility, proactivity, autonomy and rigor
