Pernod Ricard is seeking a Business Law Competition, Distribution & Litigation Intern in January 2027 to join the Global Markets & GTR Legal team in Paris. You will support the lawyers in their daily missions within the Pernod Ricard S.A. legal department.

Key missions include legal research in Economic Law, development of internal compliance for competition law, monitoring litigation, contract drafting and management across jurisdictions. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Master II student or trainee lawyer.
• Solid legal training in Competition & Distribution law.
• At least 6 months' experience in the legal departments of major companies and/or international business law firms.
• Excellent level of written and spoken English; writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in legal research related to Economic Law (Competition & Distribution).
• Assist in development and implementation of Internal Compliance program related to Competition law & antitrust.
• Assist in monitoring litigation matters in the Group.
• Assist with contract negotiation, drafting and monitoring within the Group and with third parties.
• Follow-up and record contracts and their amendments in the Group databases.
• Assist with contract management: drafting letters of formal notice or termination, and renewal amendments.

Want to join a fast-moving company and work among convivial teams? Pernod Ricard is looking for its next Business Law Competition, Distribution & Litigation Intern in January 2027. You will be part of the Global Markets & GTR Legal team, within the Legal Department of Pernod Ricard S.A., to support the lawyers in their daily missions.

Your key missions

• Assist in legal research related to Economic Law (Competition & Distribution) related to Pernod Ricard’s business in several jurisdictions
• Assist in the development and implementation of the Group’s Internal Compliance program related to Competition law & antitrust (e.g. policies, risk assessment tools, mitigation measures, etc)
• Assist in monitoring litigation matters in the Group.
• Assist in the negotiation, drafting and monitoring of contracts set up within the Group and with third parties (e.g. regional distribution & procurement contracts, ) in the various Management Entities of the Group
• Follow-up and record contracts and their amendments in the Group databases
• Assist with contract management: drafting letters of formal notice or termination, and renewal amendments

Requirements

• Master II student or trainee lawyer
• Solid legal training in Competition & Distribution law
• At least 6 months' experience in the legal departments of major companies and/or in international business law firms
• Excellent level of written and spoken English (fluency in another language would be a plus)
• Good writing skills
• Ability to work as part of a team, open-mindedness
• Flexibility, proactivity, autonomy and rigor
