Job Description:

This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing existing and new accounts, maintaining an active prospect list, and conducting sales calls to win new business. Responsibilities include developing financial and process data for business wins and maintaining customer databases through regular visits.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business through approaching potential customers as per local KPIs.
  • Create a prospect list for future planning.
  • Manage RFQ responses for Contract Logistics.
  • Maintain records of account and new business activities in C-view.
  • Generate and distribute relevant reports.
  • Coordinate cross-selling activities within the department.
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, and Contract Logistics teams.
  • Focus on profitable business retention and growth.
  • Develop procedures for RFQ and new account submissions.
  • Manage financial forecasts and cost projections for new business.
  • Deliver regional presentations as needed.
  • Upsell and cross-sell services within existing accounts, including freight and value-added products.
  • Coordinate commercial activities with the customer service team, aligned with company goals.
  • Develop SOPs for new accounts in collaboration with management and internal teams.
  • Present to customers and business communities about company services.
Qualifications / Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience preferred.
  • Charismatic, confident personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Adaptability to changing policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ATS reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of European languages is a plus.
