The Product

ShippyPro is the platform that simplifies shipping and fulfillment processes for merchants, helping them automate and speed up their operations. We are currently undertaking a major initiative to modernize our tech stack to a fully distributed system to support our business growth for the coming years.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll play a crucial role in filling our sales pipeline by generating and qualifying leads for our French market. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Conducting in-depth market research to understand the needs, challenges, and behaviors of our target audience.
  • Analyzing competitors to identify new market opportunities and potential threats.
  • Collaborating closely with Content, Brand, and Events teams to create cohesive and compelling lead-generation campaigns.
  • Qualifying inbound leads from various channels such as LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and industry-specific platforms.
  • Proactively reaching out to potential customers through targeted cold calls, personalized emails, social media interactions, and other relevant channels.
  • Crafting tailored outreach communications to engage and nurture prospects effectively.
  • Setting appointments and preparing qualified leads for seamless hand-off to our sales team.
  • Implementing and utilizing lead scoring models to prioritize prospects and optimize nurturing processes.
  • Maintaining meticulous records and accurate updates in our CRM (HubSpot) and sales intelligence platform (Apollo), tracking all interactions to ensure streamlined communication.
  • Providing detailed and insightful performance reports to your manager to highlight successes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.

Who You Are

You are a proactive, results-driven individual with strong interpersonal skills, eager to excel in a fast-paced sales environment. You're adept at understanding customer pain points and skilled at building relationships through clear, persuasive communication. You thrive in collaborative teams but also have the discipline to manage your responsibilities autonomously.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience or strong interest in sales or lead generation, ideally within SaaS, tech, or similar industries.
  • Strong digital communication skills with the ability to craft engaging messages and hold meaningful conversations.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly HubSpot, sales intelligence platforms like Apollo, and an understanding of sales and marketing automation techniques.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data, customer insights, and performance metrics.
  • An organized approach to managing leads, coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • The ability to handle unexpected challenges and propose practical, quick solutions.
  • Fluency in French and strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
