Business Development Manager, Nano - Western Region (remote within region)
Mission: Prospect, develop and manage OEM, private label and alternate channel accounts in the Western Region (WA, OR, CA, NV, AZ, UT, ID, MT, WY and CO) while supporting the division’s market sector strategies.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Business Development (75%) – Develop, lead and manage the sale of divisional product through OEM, private label and alternate channel customers. Build business plans and implement strategies to expand nano’s presence in key market sectors. Drive profitable growth via focus on innovative product solutions and aftermarket strategies. Represent the Company at trade shows and conferences. Travel as necessary to achieve the objectives of this position. Maintain effective lines of communication with the Compressor Distribution sales team, product companies and customer/technical support team. Enhance division and Company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.
- Market Sector Development (20%) – Identify, develop and implement specific market sector strategies for the division’s compressed air treatment, nitrogen generation and process cooling products.
- Personal Development (5%) – Update job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations. Product line responsibility covers nano compressed air treatment, nitrogen generation and process cooling product portfolio. Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers. Perform all duties in accordance with nano purification standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer. Take appropriate actions to get the job done and maintain communications with all necessary stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education And Experience – 10 years of relevant industrial sales experience including key account and OEM sales management, preferably in the compressed air and/or nitrogen generation industry. Background in metal cutting, food and beverage and/or bulk gas specialist is of particular interest. Four-year degree in Business or Marketing.
- Job Knowledge, Skills And Abilities – Proven leader with experience executing a stated sales plan and delivering results. Self-directed with excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proven business analysis skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Travel is required. Valid driver’s license.
