Legal Business Development Manager

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Salary: $60,000 - $170,000+ (Base + Commission + Bonuses)

About Us

ME Law Professional Corporation is a leading litigation firm in Downtown Toronto (Yorkville), specializing in high-stakes civil litigation, asset division, and preservation in real estate, estates, and corporate/commercial disputes. We are seeking a Legal Business Development Manager to expand our client base, strengthen industry relationships, and drive firm growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while securing new partnerships.
  • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads, manage client interactions, and analyze market trends.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and legal teams to refine client acquisition strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent the firm at networking events, industry conferences, and legal functions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Experience in the legal industry (law firm, legal services, or professional services background preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven sales strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
