Business Development Manager - Indirect Channels (Thailand, Cambodia & Laos)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand (TH)

Mission:

  1. Implement effective sales strategies to achieve the sales objectives/ target and exceed customer satisfaction.
  2. Key overall responsibilities:
  • Identifying new potential distributor & reseller in the assigned territory to grow Nano product range.
  • Strategically manage and grow sales development for Nano Compressed Air Treatment & Industrial Gas business in the assigned territory.
  • Lead, supervise and develop the distributor's sales team by maximizing and enhancing staff potential, competencies, skills developments and productivity.
  • Strategically develop and grow distributors/reseller business.
  • Sales and marketing support for new products & after-market.
  • Strategically support General Manager in identifying and spearheading initiatives to increase Nano market share and business in the Indirect business.
  • Develop the business through the selection, appointment and development of distributors/resellers with active discussion/consultation with the General Manager.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Distributor Management:

    • Implement & formulate directions and strategies for distributor management.
    • Monitor distributor performance & analyze for relevant action plans (range of products sold, OR & 01 trend, support needed).
    • Increase market presence through appointments of new distributors in uncovered areas or increase potential distributors' area of coverage.
    • Evaluate existing non-performing distributors and formulate action plan.
    • Assist in handling technical issues from distributors.
    • Follow up monthly forecast & business update with distributors.

    Business Development (Compressed Air Treatment, Industrial Gas & Aftermarket):

    • Define clear strategy to achieve market share and specific sales targets for the Indirect Channel business.
    • Plan, organize and conduct sales visits to promote, negotiate and conclude orders from current and prospective distributors' customers.
    • Plan and organize sales activities, solution presentations, etc. to find out customer needs and transform opportunities to orders.
    • Prepare action plans/activities for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
    • Lead, guide and supervise all distributors in the development of business throughout the territory assigned. Monitor sales activities, providing coaching to the distributors to improve market share.

    What we expect from you?

    Job Requirements:

    • Degree in technical/engineering or business discipline.
    • Minimum 5-8 years solid industrial sales experience.
    • Proven track record of delivering profitable sales results.
    • Strong planning and organizational skills.
    • Proven business analysis ability.

    Skills/Knowledge:

    • Computer literate.
    • Good Sales Presentation & Negotiation skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Good command of English & Thai language, both written and spoken.
    • Strong customer focus and deeply determined.
    • Self-motivated and dynamic person.
    • Result-oriented with a clear focus on the given targets.
    • Analytical person with innovative problem-solving ability.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to work independently and as a team player.
