A leading global law firm is seeking a European Business Development Manager to join the firm and enhance the profile of its global network. The role involves collaborating with international teams to facilitate sales and coordinate high-value marketing initiatives to impact European operations positively and strengthen the firm’s reputation. Fluency in German and English is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the marketing strategy effectively, utilizing analytics to identify and track leads.
  • Use analytics to monitor activities and report on effectiveness to maximize ROI.
  • Conduct research using internal and external data sources to meet client, practice, and sector needs.
  • Develop matter descriptions and ensure proper documentation in the matter database following best practices.
  • Assist in managing the legal directories process, including research and content management.
  • Facilitate access to pitch best practice tools and content; coordinate contributions from pitch stakeholders.
  • Prepare for Pipeline Review Meetings by maintaining systems accurately.
  • Support client/business development efforts by tracking leads and reporting ROI for further opportunities.
  • Keep senior management updated on new work and ongoing projects.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Proven business development experience in a fast-paced industry.
  • Experience in budgeting and related reporting.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
