Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced business development professional for our expanding international team. The ideal candidate will have extensive B2B experience and a strong network within the industry and region to support our growth initiatives with our IP and Cloud-based solutions.

Our goal is to transition global media distribution to cloud solutions, aiming to double our revenue and innovate with scalable solutions for emerging connectivity sectors. Opportunities include new technology applications and products, offering learning and development prospects.

This is a fixed-term contract role lasting 12 months.

The role
  • Engage with named prospect accounts in Media & Broadcast, focusing on IP and Cloud-based solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels, developing detailed customer knowledge.
  • Plan strategically across the region, prospect new clients, gather market intelligence, and contribute to product development, dedicating approximately 70% of time to direct sales and business development, including channel and partner development.
  • Manage sales pipeline and pitches, involving SMEs as needed. Focus areas include hybrid CDN, smart advertising, head-end services, video operations, and content processing and distribution technologies. Promote existing Arqiva products like Arqplex and Arqade. Potential sales targets include pay TV platforms, broadcasters, streaming services, telcos, and content owners.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce) of all interactions, opportunities, and pipeline status.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Commercial & Strategic Planning to negotiate and execute contracts following governance procedures.
  • Coordinate handovers to Account Management teams according to transition policies.

  • Proven impact in B2B business development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with C-Suite executives and third parties.
  • Established network within the European media and broadcast industry.
  • Experience with CRM systems in a structured sales environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for presentations and business cases.
  • Strong customer service understanding.
