TE Connectivity's Business Development Team for Data Connectivity identifies, develops, and implements near-term and long-term business development strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies and services. The team identifies potential markets and product applications and determines the feasibility of business and product development.

Your Main Tasks:
  • Support various customers, especially in France, and participate in onsite activities for TE Data Connectivity products. This includes new product introduction, supporting customer product releases, and building a network with key customer stakeholders. Collaborate closely with customers and internal cross-functional teams to provide support and innovative solutions.
  • Drive identification and initiatives for new Automotive Data Connectivity applications by working with development engineering, account development, and sales teams.
  • Participate in customer engineering activities; communicate with the program team; understand system requirements; respond proactively; document meetings; record actions; communicate feedback to internal teams.
  • Lead activities related to new technology and product concepts, bringing them to TDP and NPD phases, with the goal of transferring products into the Data Connectivity pipeline. Support validation processes and ensure customer milestones are met.
  • Prepare and present detailed product specifications and marketing information; identify new opportunities; propose modifications to meet customer needs.
  • Facilitate communication between TE, customers, and technology providers on development efforts and trends; evaluate architectures and applications to inform product management for future portfolios.
  • Translate market needs into requirements for next-gen products; drive early engagement; facilitate design-in; ensure speed to market as the technical interface to the customer.
Your Ideal Background:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in a technical, business development, or product management role within the automotive environment.
  • Knowledge of contact systems, RF, harness architecture, and OEM preferences.
  • Strong technical understanding.
  • Ability to develop business cases supporting product concepts.
  • Proactive, dynamic team player capable of working independently and across functions.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration across regions and functions.
  • Fluent French; must be located in France and able to visit customers 2-3 times per week.
