We support projects across REACh, Biocides, Plant Protection, and Nutrition sectors. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Development (BD) Manager to join our dynamic and supportive teams in Europe and the UK. This role will play a key part in identifying growth opportunities, securing new partnerships, and strengthening client relationships.

Your Role

As a BD Manager, you will:

• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
• Build and nurture strong, long-term partnerships with clients
• Represent Staphyt at industry events and conferences
• Provide strategic regulatory insight at early business stages
• Drive quotes provision and contract negotiations, contribute to pricing strategies
• Serve as the main commercial contact between clients and internal project teams
• Collaborate closely with Regulatory Managers, Scientific Experts, and the Marketing Team
• Contribute to marketing initiatives and the creation of BD materials

Your background and skills

Essential qualifications:

• A degree in a relevant scientific field

• Min. 5 years of experience in the Biocides and/or REACh regulatory sectors within the EU

• In-depth understanding of EU regulatory procedures (to advise clients effectively)

• Strong client-facing experience and ability to build trusted relationships

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Team spirit and a collaborative mindset in an international environment

• Strategic thinking and commercial acumen

Desirable skills:

• Familiarity with other regulatory frameworks (e.g. ‘REACH-like’, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, plant protection, fertilizers, biostimulants)

• Experience with tools like IUCLID
