Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business and technical teams, gathering requirements and translating them into functional specs for Azure cloud and IoT solutions.

You will work with Azure architects, developers, IoT engineers, QA, and product owners; participate in Agile ceremonies; produce BRDs, FRs, user stories, and process flows; support testing and UAT, and help ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges.
• Gather, analyse, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRSs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Work closely with Azure cloud architects, developers, IoT engineers, QA teams, and product owners.
• Analyse and document IoT business processes, including device connectivity, telemetry data collection, monitoring, and reporting.
• Understand Microsoft Azure services and their application in IoT-based solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements.
• Support the integration of IoT devices, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder reviews.
• Coordinate functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and issue resolution.
• Monitor project progress, manage requirement changes, and ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with knowledge of Microsoft Azure and IoT services to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and supporting the design and implementation of digital solutions using Azure cloud and IoT technologies.

The ideal candidate should have experience working on digital transformation initiatives, cloud-based applications, IoT platforms, and cross-functional projects.

• Knowledge of IoT concepts, including connected devices, sensors, telemetry, data collection, and device monitoring.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in functional testing, UAT coordination, and defect management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
• Knowledge of Power BI, dashboards, and IoT data analytics.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and cloud-based digital solutions.
