Une entreprise de premier plan dans le secteur de l'expédition recherche un Bunker Control Expert pour superviser le contrôle qualité des carburants. Vous contribuerez à la transition énergétique du groupe en intégrant des biocarburants. Le poste nécessite une expérience significative dans l'industrie navale, une bonne connaissance des carburants marins et des compétences en gestion de projet, tout en collaborant avec diverses équipes au sein de l'organisation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum de 10 ans d'expérience dans l'industrie navale.
  • Familiarité avec les procédures de certification ISO 9001 souhaitée.
  • Organisé, autonome et rigoureux avec un bon esprit d'équipe.

Responsabilités

  • Vérifier le certificat de qualité avant achat et analyser les échantillons après livraison.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre un système de gestion de la qualité avec les fournisseurs.
  • Gérer les litiges de qualité des carburants pour minimiser les impacts opérationnels.

YOUR ROLE

Within the Bunkering & Energy Transition Department, part of the Operation, Supply and Control Team, you will oversee the upstream and downstream quality control of fuels purchased as part of the Group’s energy procurement policy.

You will collaborate with various departments, including CMA Ships (Superintendents, crews, Fleet Managers), SSE Department (Safety, Security, Environment), Chartering, Legal, and Line Operations.

As an internal expert on marine fuel quality across the supply chain, you will support the Group's energy transition efforts, including the integration of biofuels into fossil fuels.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Verify the "certificate of quality" (COQ) before purchase and analyze samples post-delivery to ensure fuel quality across the fleet.
  • Develop and implement a "Quality Management System" (QMS) with suppliers to ensure transparency and quality of supplied fuels.
  • Contribute to the development and update of quality specifications and bunkering procedures, aligned with the Group's compliance policies (CSR).
  • Manage fuel quality disputes to minimize operational impacts and costs, collaborating with buyers and relevant departments.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects on renewable liquid fuels, working with suppliers, engine manufacturers, and laboratories to enhance green fuel offerings.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Graduated from a Merchant Marine or Naval Academy.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the naval industry, onboard vessels in technical roles.
  • Knowledge of marine fuel specifications, chemical composition of fuel oils, and biofuels.
  • Project management skills and familiarity with ISO 9001 certification procedures are desirable.
  • Excellent writing skills, fluency in French and English (spoken and written), proficiency in Office tools.
  • Organized, autonomous, rigorous, with strong team spirit.
  • Responsiveness and curiosity to succeed in this role.
