The Building Services Manager is a key role within the delivery of the ‘hard and Soft’ facility management services for the Ravenhall Correctional Centre, managing the services delivery and subcontractor teams.

The role is responsible for ensuring that the Hard and Soft FM Services are delivered in a way that complies with contractual requirements, legislative / statutory requirements and industry best practice.

This role requires effective communication with relevant Honeywell staff and sub-contractors, as well as the Correctional centre operator and their stakeholders to ensure tasks are allocated efficiently and maintenance (either reactive or planned) occurs in accordance with given requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client representative, contractual key stakeholders and end users. Ensure communication is two way and all requests are responded to promptly and within required time frames.
  • Manage the successful delivery of all building services, to ensure full compliance to all KPI and Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM) requirements are delivered.
  • Ensure detailed understanding of the contract, KPI requirements, and PPM requirements to ensure the technical services delivery achieves the expectations of the KPI’s and minimises abatement risks. This includes contributing to performance monitoring and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure all services are delivered in a safe, effective manner that minimises any impact on the end user services

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Trade or Tertiary qualifications in Building maintenance
  • Experience within dynamic, high-pressure environment
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a highly complex building services environment
  • Ability to understand, interpret and comply with contracts and contractual requirements
  • Understanding of Australian standards – building / commercial maintenance
  • Experience with Australian and state based HSE legislation and compliance
