Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience as a biostatistician in CRO, pharma, or academia.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory standards (ISPOR, ICH, FDA, EMA).

Description du poste

Horiana is a consulting company dedicated to epidemiology and biostatistics, designing and conducting real world healthcare studies. Horiana aims to support its clients − private and public/academic professionals in the healthcare field − at all stages of their projects.

Within the Advanced Methods Department, you will be in charge of developing, implementing, and reviewing innovative RWS methods, and performing Indirect Treatment Comparisons, as well as External Control Arms analyses, including documentation for regulatory purposes. You will closely work with our internal and external experts in various therapeutic fields such as oncology, infectious diseases, or rare diseases. You will also be involved in facilitating technical training on biostatistics and data science.

Profile
  1. A Master of Science (MSc) or Ph.D. degree in applied statistics in the fields of health and life sciences
  2. At least 2-3 years of relevant experience as a biostatistician in a CRO, pharma, or academic environment
  3. Experience in RWS or clinical studies
  4. Good statistical programming skills (R as a minimum)
  5. Good knowledge of regulatory standards (ISPOR, ICH, FDA, EMA, ENCEPP, HAS…)
  6. Fluency in English
  7. Autonomy, organization skills, and the ability to identify priorities
  8. Aspiration for excellence and performance
  9. Strong curiosity for unusual statistical methods
  10. Willingness for training facilitation and knowledge sharing
  11. Team spirit
Mission
  1. Write and review study statistical documentation (methodology, presentation, interpretation…)
  2. Implement (programming) relevant statistical analyses (NMA, MAIC, ITC, unconventional methods…)
  3. Deliver the studies within timelines and quality standards
  4. Contribute to building future projects and valorizing the results
  5. Write/collaborate in the drafting of quality documentation related to statistics
  6. Build and maintain a deep level of innovative statistical skills
